IN RE:	HB2293 by Neave (Relating to indicating ethnicity on the form for a voter registration application.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code requiring the form for voter registration to include an applicant's ethnicity.

This analysis assumes any cost incurred by the Secretary of State from implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
