No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 147, Acts of the 51st Legislature, Regular Session 1949, allowing the Board of Port Commissioners to set the compensation for the Navigation District of Jefferson County.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
