No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to permitting the Texas Ethics Commission to provide seminars and charge an attendance fee for those seminars. This analysis assumes any costs associated with the bill could be implemented within the existing resources of the Ethics Commission.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives two-thirds vote of all members elected to each house otherwise, this will take effect September 1, 2017.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
