HB2477 by Davis, Sarah (Relating to the authority of certain municipal employees to request the removal and storage of certain illegally parked or operated vehicles.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code allowing a municipality to designate an employee to request the removal and storage of a vehicle that is illegally operated for hire or parked illegally in an area designated as two-away zone where on-street parking is regulated by an ordinance.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.  

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League (TML), no fiscal impact is anticipated for local government.
