HB2680 by Canales (Relating to the creation and promulgation of certain standard forms for statewide use in criminal actions.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require the Office of Court Administration to create nine standardized forms to be used for certain waivers and acknowledgements in criminal actions. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
