IN RE:
HB2725 by González, Mary (Relating to the composition of the board of directors of a stormwater control and recapture planning authority in certain counties.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to modify the composition of the Board of Directors of a stormwater control and recapture planning authority in certain counties. Prohibits serving on the board if the person holds another public office.
According to the Department of Transportation, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated, and duties can be managed using current resources.
The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of each house. If it does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, it would take effect September 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
