No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the public availability of the date of birth information for certain persons contained in a record of a law enforcement agency or criminal justice agency. The Department of Criminal Justice anticipates any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
