HB3269 by Coleman (Relating to certain contraband searches conducted by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to routine contraband searches conducted during certain months. The Department of Criminal Justice anticipates any additional work resulting from the parovisions of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
