No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to persons required to establish nursing peer review committees.

Based on the analysis of the Texas Board of Nursing, the Health and Human Services Commission, the Department of State Health Services, The University of Texas System Administration, the Texas A&M University System Administrative and General Offices, the University of North Texas System Administration, and the Texas Tech University System Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
