The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to make available in a publicly accessible area of a driver's license office certain informational materials on the National Marrow Donor Program. The bill would require DPS to include space on each application for a new or renewal driver's license or personal identification certificate that informs the applicant of the existence of the National Marrow Donor Program, the contact information for the  program, and a description of the program's purpose.
