HB3547 by Phillips (Relating to the requirement that the name of a state agency be printed on certain state motor vehicles.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to provide the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement with the authority to exempt the agency from the requirement that state identification markings be placed on the agency's vehicles. It is assumed any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
