HB3574 by Collier (Relating to the allocation of low income housing tax credits.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the allocation of low income housing tax credits. The bill would permit the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) to consider education quality as part of the threshold criteria for the evaluation of certain applications.

TDHCA anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
