No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code requiring the Department of Public Safety to create a countywide alert system for missing adults.
The LBB assumes any cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing agency resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
