HB3669 by Landgraf (Relating to the operations of the Ector County Hospital District.), As Engrossed
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code requiring the Ector County Hospital District to elect seven single-member districts every odd year. The bill would allow a director to be removed if the director is absent for more than half of the regularly scheduled board meetings.
The bill would repeal Section 1024.051(b) of the Special District Local laws Code.
The bill would take effect immediately if the bill receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
