The bill would amend the Local Government Code relating to the notification requirements for certain proposed regulations and structures near a military facility.
The bill would repeal Section 397.005 (c)-(e) of the Local Government Code.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
According to the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the City of Fort Worth estimates implementing the provisions of the bill would cost $50,000 in the first year and $10,000 or less each subsequent year.
