No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the comanagement of glaucoma by ophthalmologists and therapeutic optometrists and the establishment of a comanagement registry. Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board and the Texas Optometry Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
