No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Government Code relating to the application for and loans from the Texas military value revolving loan account.
The bill would allow the Texas Military Preparedness Commission's (TMPC) to participate in meetings by telephone or certain other means to consider applications for loans from the Texas military value revolving loan account. The bill would require the TMPC to consult with the Texas Public Finance Authority (TPFA) on the adoption of a loan application.
TPFA indicates that any costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
