No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to the release of a child taken into possession by a law enforcement officer.

It is assumed that costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing agency resources.  The provisions of the bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
