IN RE:
HB4032 by Phillips (Relating to annual limitations on the reimbursement of expenses incurred by district court reporters.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow a court reporter to receive more than the maximum reimbursement set for a court report's judicial district upon approval of the additional reimbursement by the commissioners court of the respective county for which the expenses were incurred. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
