No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code establishing the Celina Municipal Management District No. 2. The district would have authority for improvement projects and services. The district may not exercise eminent domain authority unless the district obtains written consent from the governing body of the city. The district would have authority to impose assessments. The district would have authority to issue bonds.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
