HB4284 by Price (Relating to the jurisdiction of the statutory county courts of Potter County in family law matters.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to extend jurisdiction over family law cases and proceedings in Potter County to all county courts at law in Potter County.  Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
