HB4330 by Geren (Relating to the creation and operations of a health care provider participation program by the Tarrant County Hospital District.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code allowing the Tarrant County Hospital District to
participate in a health care provider participation program. The authority of the district to administer and operate this program expires December 31, 2019.

The Health and Human Services Commission assumes any cost associated with implementing the
provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise,
the bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
