No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $114,369.

The resolution would repeal Section 14, Article IX of the Texas Constitution relating to county poor houses and farms.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties no fiscal impact is anticipated.
