No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Business & Commerce Code and the Insurance Code relating to insurance claims and certain prohibited acts and practices in the business of insurance. Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance and the Office of Court Administration, it is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
