IN RE:
SB324 by Buckingham (Relating to the authority of the Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 3 to enter into certain agreements relating to the ad valorem taxation of certain property located in the district.), As Introduced
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code allowing the Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 3 to tax certain property that is exempt from ad valorem taxation.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
According to the Comptroller of Public Accounts the bill would have a positive fiscal impact on parts of the district but since the bill is permissive and applies to only a segment of the district, the exact fiscal impact cannot be estimated.
