No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill relates to the temporary approval of a private or independent college or university to continue to participate in the tuition equalization grant program. It is expected that very few institutions would be impacted by the bill. Therefore any impact on general revenue funds is not considered significant to the state. Any costs associated with implementing the bill would be absorbed by the Higher Education Coordinating Board within existing resources.
