No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require a recipient or former recipient of a limitation on appraised value under Chapter 313 of the Tax Code to contract with an independent certified public account to verify data certified to the Comptroller. According to the Comptroller and Workforce Commission, any costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
