No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to a database of employers penalized for failure to pay wages or convicted of certain offenses involving wage theft. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
