No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the content of detailed reports filed by lobbyists and to monetary limits on expenditures by lobbyists.

The Ethics Commission indicates that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of  the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect January 8, 2019. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
