SB528 by Birdwell (Relating to the term of a chief administrative law judge.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the term of a chief administrative law judge. Under the provisions of the bill, the term of a chief administrative law judge would expire on May 15th of each even-numbered year.

The State Office of Administrative Hearings anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
