No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family code to expand the qualifications of an individual appointed by a court to conduct adoption evaluations to include individuals under contract with a domestic relations office. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
Based on the analysis of the Legislative Budget Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
