No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code prohibiting Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) from making a grant or loan to a regional mobility authority unless the authority agrees in writing to allow state audits of the authority at any time.
According to TxDOT and the State Auditor no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
