SB657 by Zaffirini (Relating to the filing of oaths of office and signed statements by certain judicial officers and judicial appointees with the secretary of state.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require certain oaths and statements to be filed with the Secretary of State. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration and the Secretary of State, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
