SB658 by Perry (Relating to a landowner's liability for injuries incurred during certain recreational activities.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to add rock climbing to the list of recreational activities that offers liability protection for landowners who allow others to enter their property for recreational purposes. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
