No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to an expedited licensing process for certain physicians specializing in psychiatry. The bill would authorize the Texas Medical Board to set a fee for the expedited licensing process.

Based on the analysis of the agency, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
