IN RE:
SB734 by Hancock (Relating to the sale of distilled spirits to ultimate consumers by the holder of a distiller's and rectifier's permit.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to limit the quantity of distilled spirits sold to a consumer within a 30-day period by the holder of a distiller's and rectifier's permit. The bill would also require that each product sold must have a certificate of label approval issued by the United States Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. It is assumed the costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
