No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government and Property Code to require certain counties and municipalities work closely with the military installation to ensure certain conditions are being met or include a link to certain information available on the local governmental entity's website. The bill would require certain information be included to purchasers of real property regarding the impact of military installations.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
