SB1158 by Miles (Relating to certified food managers in food establishments in certain counties.), As Introduced
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
This bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to authorize counties with a population of greater than 4 million to require a certified food manager to be on duty during the operating hours of a food establishment.
According to the Department of State Health Services, there is no fiscal impact to the state from this bill.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
