SB1168 by Uresti (Relating to the disqualification of directors of the Middle Pecos Groundwater Conservation District.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Special District and Local Laws Code relating to the Middle Pecos Groundwater Conservation District. The bill would allow the board by a unanimous vote of the remaining directors to remove a director who has missed one-half or more of the regular meetings scheduled during the prior 12 months.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
