SB1405 by Creighton (Relating to the public sale of real property under a power of sale in a security instrument.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code to address certain property transactions conducted pursuant to the power of sale afforded by a security instrument. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
