SB1421 by Estes (Relating to access to criminal history record information by the Railroad Commission of Texas.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow the Railroad Commission access to criminal history information for current, past, and prospective employees and certain other individuals.  The Railroad Commission has indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
