No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would expand the permissible uses of the Floodplain Management Fund 330 to include the collection and analysis of flood-related information; flood planning, protection, mitigation, or adaptation; the provision of flood-related information to the public; and the evaluation of responses to and mitigation of flood incidents affecting residential property. Based on the analysis of the Texas Water Development Board and the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the bill would have no revenue implications and no significant fiscal impact.
