No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would expand the permissible uses of the Floodplain Management Fund 330 to include the collection and analysis of flood-related information; flood planning, protection, mitigation, or adaptation; and the provision of flood-related information to the public. Based on the analysis of the Texas Water Development Board and the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the bill would have no revenue implications and no significant fiscal impact.
