SB1609 by Bettencourt (Relating to regulation by a property owners' association of certain religious displays.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Property Code to prohibit property owners' associations from restricting the display of religious items on the owner's property.

The bill would also repeal Sections 202.018(c) and (d) of the Property Code. 




Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
