The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide certain electronic toll collection customer account information by contract to a local toll project entity.
TxDOT indicates that any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's current resources.
Local Government Impact
According to the Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority, the bill would have no fiscal impact on the Authority. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
