No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 372 of the Transportation Code to authorize a toll project entity to provide by contract to another toll project entity electronic toll collection customer account information for customer service, toll collection, or enforcement purposes.

TxDOT indicates that any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's current resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority, the bill would have no fiscal impact on the Authority. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
