SB1683 by Lucio (Relating to food allergen awareness in food service establishments.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of State Health Services to determine the form and content of a food allergen awareness poster and post a sample poster on the department's Internet website not later than December 1, 2017. The bill would require the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission to adopt rules to implement the provisions of the bill.

It is assumed, any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
