No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to allow a business owner or operator that allows the licensed carry of handguns on the premises of which the carrying of a handgun is not otherwise unlawful is immune from any civil liability based on the owner's failure to forbid the carrying of handguns on the premises by customers or employees.
