No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code relating to the exchange of certain information between the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and other juvenile service providers. Based on LBB's analysis of DFPS, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
The bill would take effect immediately if it received a two-thirds vote in each house, otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
