SB1964 by Creighton (Relating to the use of land in Jones State Forest for academic and economic purposes.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize the Texas A&M University System to use or lease land in the Texas A&M System-owned Jones State Forest for the construction of buildings or improvements for multipurpose uses, including academic, research, and private commercial uses. The bill would specify that any net profits from the use or lease of land in the Jones State Forest be used at the discretion of the Texas A&M Board of Regents.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
